Beware, Be Prepared, COVID-19 Fighting Back – Buhari

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that reports from around the World had shown that COVID-19 may be fighting back, enjoining Nigerians not to relent in adhering strictly to the health and safety protocols.

Platforms Africa reports that Buhari spoke through his Digital and Social Media Aide, Lauretta Onochie, in lending a voice to the alarm raised by World Health Organisation (WHO) over a new variant of dangerous Coronavirus pandemic.

“The World Health Organisation (WHO) alarmed over new COVID-19 strain, ‘Omicron’,” which the world health body described as ‘variant of concern,’ she said.

Speaking in a short message posted on her verified Facebook social media timeline Saturday afternoon, the body language expert did not just re-echo the WHO’s alarm, she provided a guide as to the way against it and what to be done.

Onochie’s update

She listed what to be done as to: “1. Vaccinate, 2. Wear A Mask, 3. Avoid Super Spreader Venues, 4. Sanitise, 5. Observe Social Distancing, 6. It’s not over, till it’s over and 7. #StaySafe.”

“God Bless Nigeria,” Lauretta Onochie prayed.
